| Local
man is put in jail after utilizing Yahoo's new pay
service, Yahoo Murder. |
A local man's identity was revealed by a major internet
company that released his private information to federal
authorities after a judge found that he had used Yahoo's
new service, Yahoo Murder.
Yahoo Murder is Yahoo! inc's latest offering, decided
to be a major revenue stream in a shaky market due to
an economic downturn in the technology sector of Wall
Street. "Murder is a hot item right now," comments Jerry
Wang, Lead Operational Officer in charge of new Revenue
Streams, "we think that Yahoo offers a personalized
and convenient avenue for those in search of murder
plans."
Yahoo, in the midst of falling stock prices has decided
to charge for services it had once offered free of charge.
Yahoo Murder is only one channel in a string of new
paid services to be offered by the internet giant, among
those: Yahoo Conspiracy, Yahoo Drugs, and Yahoo Movie
Reviews.
The local man, having used Yahoo Murder in the recent
death of his wife, completely blamed Yahoo for the crime.
He said he was just "inquiring" about how much a murder
would cost on Yahoo Murder, and that the internet company
turned him in when the "fibbies" leaned on them too
hard. This, he states, is a violation of Yahoo's privacy
policy. Upon further review, ModernMess has uncovered
that there is indeed a clause that allows Yahoo to disclose
any and all information about a user if fibbies do indeed
lean a little hard.

"Yahoo is responsible for this murder," local man said,
"they ought to know that murder on the internet is STILL
murder. And if it isn't illegal, there's gotta be a
big fine. Let's all see how THAT fits into their revenue
model!"
Yahoo has declined to comment upon the recent criticism
of Yahoo Murder, but in a letter addressed to ModernMess,
has said: "Yahoo's Privacy Policy was written by five
to six of the best lawyers in Silicon Valley. We are
sure that there are no mistakes in it."
For the time being, Yahoo Murder is still available
to the public and can also be put on Yahoo's "My Yahoo"
which has the ability to email you a reminder for any
upcoming birthdays, anniversaries, or murders.”
